Opening to possibilities

I am a mother, peace activist, author, and communication coach.  I love the challenges and rewards of being a parent, and of inspiring and empowering people to live joyfully and choice-fully.

I learned at a young age, the differences I experienced among people were merely beautiful costumes, adorning the human essence that connects us all.  I have since come to believe this beautiful human essence is derived from needs shared by all - including those for connection, fun, play, community, food, shelter, belonging, learning, choice, respect, making a difference, and meaning and purpose.

Early on, I gravitated to inter-disciplinary work in Engineering Geology, and Education and Technology research because I saw that the whole was greater than the sum of its parts.

I left the working world to become a mother.  This is a role and journey for which I am so grateful. It was through my readings as a mother that I was introduced to Nonviolent Communication TM (NVC). Through my NVC practice, I was introduced to Byron Katie’s work, and I learned body awareness techniques. The practice of a combination of all these disciplines has allowed me to come home to myself and find  my inner wisdom and power, as well as to create a life that increasingly reflects my values and dreams.

By practicing NVC and Byron Katie’s process, I received the gifts of being able to make deep connections, to heal, to identify and live my values and dreams, to free myself of limiting beliefs, and to solve problems with creativity and the honoring of all involved. I am dedicating my life to sharing these gifts in the hopes of contributing richness and peace to other’s lives, so I and they can become abundantly rich with love, life-force and purpose as we create heartfelt connections and open to possibilities.
